Before you fill the certificate

Tick SHA256 in the certificate. SHA-1 and MD5 are shown too, but both are considered broken and can be challenged.
Hash the exact file you will produce in court. Copying it unchanged keeps the same hash; opening and re-saving it, or converting it (Word → PDF, WhatsApp export → PDF), changes it.
For a WhatsApp export or a folder of many files, either note each file's hash or zip them once and hash the zip — then produce that same zip.
Note the date and time of hashing shown below each file, and the method: "SHA-256, computed in the browser using onecourt.in File Hash Calculator".

You can check any value yourself: on a Mac run shasum -a 256 <file> in Terminal; on Windows run certutil -hashfile <file> SHA256 in Command Prompt. The results will match.
